I know the slopes of Laila intimately—both culturally and geographically. Over the years, I have met locals on several sides of the mountain range, and with some, I have built long-term relationships. I have explored this region in every season, from the deep snows of midwinter to the warmth of midsummer. These experiences have been growing steadily since 2016.

I began paragliding in 2022, and I have always cherished the dream of traversing this area not just on foot, but also through the air. Little by little, that dream is taking shape.

To be clear: I am not a paragliding instructor—neither by certification nor by extensive experience. But in my experience, it is very common in the paragliding community to reach out to other pilots for advice when flying in a new area.
